GIUFFRE, 19-year-old waist gunner on an Eighth Air Force B-17 Flying Fortress, has been presented his third duster for "meritorious achievement” during bombing attacks on Nazi military' and industrial targets and in support of ground forces. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. V. Giuffre of 315 N. Seventeenth street San Jose.
